Hiro attempts to delve into Arthur Petrelli's past to uncover the mystery behind him creating the rival company Pinehearst, and his hatred towards Angela. Meanwhile, Sylar is stricken by guilt when tries to stop his murderous ways, while Noah Bennett and Elle both team up to try to kill him. Also, Meredith's training with Claire goes up in smoke with the arrival of her murderous brother.
Season 3, Episode 7: Eris Quod Sum
Tracy and Nathan try to save themselves from a dangerous, spider-like Mohinder who is no longer in control of himself. Meanwhile, Sylar is given the task to save Peter from the evil rival company, Pinehurst, when he captured and rendered powerless by the evil Arthur Petrelli. Also, Daphne is ordered by Knox to kill a certain foe, or be killed. Also, Hiro is still searching for answers onto who or what is behind Pinehurst and their nefarious plans are for the destruction of the world.
Season 3, Episode 6: Six Dying of the Light
As Suresh blathers on about people losing their way and kindred spirits teaming up we montage through: The hospital room from last week with Papa Petrelli; Peter lying in a coma; Mama P lying on a hospital bed; Parkman wheeling his turtle guide through the airport; Tracy and Nathan sharing a cab; Sylar sitting still in his cell; Suresh over his microscope in the lab surrounded by his cocoons.
Season 3, Episode 5: Five Angels and Monsters
Claire attempts to destroy her first target, Stephen Canfield. Hiro attempts to become friends with Daphne.
Season 3 Episode 4: I Am Become Death
Future Peter and Present Peter time travel to FP's time (4 yrs. in the future) and he notifes PP that in the past (PP's time) someone created a formula that gave everyone powers. This is backed up by people in Manhattan flying and running all over the place. FP tells PP that PP has to obtain Sylar's power to be able to save the world. At this point Claire shows up with Knox and Daphne and shoots FP (why did he die, he can't die), PP teleports to Costa Verde, California. He enters the home of Gabriel (Sylar) who now is a family man with a son named Noah. Noah says hi to his uncle, Peter looks at him a little weird because of being called Uncle. Noah reveals that Peter doesn't have his scar; this is when Gabriel realizes that Peter is from the past. He takes him into a seperate room where Peter tells him that he needs his power to save the world.
Season 3 Episode 3: One of Us, One of Them
Noah Bennett is stunned when Angela Petrelli assigns him a brainwashed Sylar as his new partner to track down the escapees from the notorious Level 5, as Peter, still trapped in the body of Jessie the Sonic Man, is forced to team up with a trio of deadly super villains who are on a murderous crime spree by holding up a local bank. Future Peter eventually releases Present Peter from his body-cell and shows him his dark future. In Africa, Matt learns more about his spiritual guide, Usutu, who also has the ability to paint the future. Meanwhile, Hiro and Ando track Speedster Daphne to Berlin to recover the mysterious formula, and find out that the rouge Hatian is behind it and working for another third party. In California, Claire asks her biological mother, Meredith Gordon, to teach her how to fight. Elsewhere, Micah Sanders, mourning the death of his mother is approached by the shadowy Tracy Strass who asks him information about her past and why she and the late Niki Sanders are very identical looking, which leads to the mysterious Dr. Zuckerman, who may hold a clue.
Season 3 Episode 2: The Butterfly Effect
Sylar goes to the Company and inadvertently releases 12 super-powered criminals in a fight with Elle. Future Peter tries to fix his mistake. Angela takes over the company. Claire learns more about her powers. Hiro and Ando travel to Paris to track down the speedster who robbed them. Maya discovers that Mohinder's injection has changed him. Matt meats Usutu, an African with a familiar power.
Season 3 Episode 1: The Second Coming
In order to change the course of history, Peter Petrelli travels back in time to the day his brother Nathan revealed the existence of the super-humans. Courtesy of a DVD, Hiro receives instructions from his late father about a deadly secret contained in the office safe. Hiro can't help but open the safe and the contents are promptly stolen. Nathan undergoes a religious experience and is offered a new job by someone who looks remarkably like Niki Sanders. Sylar confronts Claire in a bid to get hold of her powers.
